Dr.
Ross 
has been in the
exclusive practice of orthodontics in Los Altos since 1977. He has
lectured at UOP
Dental School, Stanford
University Sleep Disorders Clinic, the
Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and The
American Association of Orthodontists in the fields of sleep
apnea, use of magnets in orthodontics, and orthodontic diagnosis. He is currently on the graduate orthodontic faculty of the Dugoni (UOP) School of Dentistry.
Dr.
Ross is a native of San Francisco and was raised in the Bay area,
attending high school in Burlingame. He received his bachelor's
degree in psychology from The
University of Southern California. His DDS degree was earned
at Washington University
in St. Louis. While there, Dr. Ross completed a fellowship in microbiology
and was selected to represent the school at the annual American
Dental Association meeting.
After
dental school Dr. Ross completed an internship at The
Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. He then practiced general
dentistry in Honolulu and Los Altos for five years before entering
a residency program in orthodontics at The
University of Pacific Dental School in San Francisco.
Neil Ross
is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Orthodontists, and holds membership in the following
professional organizations:
American
Association of Orthodontists
Pacific Coast Society of Orthodondists
American Dental Association
California Dental Association
Northern California Academy of Dental Research
He
was the 2002 President of the Mid-Peninsula
Dental Society, the local component of the California Dental
Association.
Dr.
Ross is an avid skier, sailor, and attempts to play golf. He is
a member of The Olympic Club of San Francisco and the Palo Alto
Hills Golf and Country Club.
